Lihua Zhang

Lives and works in Shenzhen.

Zhang Lihua is an artist whose practice encompasses painting, installation, and poetry.
A graduate of the Comprehensive Painting Program at the Mural Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, her work revolves around experiences drawn from daily life. Using a narrative approach, Zhang captures the ephemeral moments of everyday existence and intertwines them with fragments of memory, presenting these intersections in an honest and evocative manner.

Her notable exhibitions include the 5th Shenzhen Contemporary Art Biennale, the 6th Shenzhen Public Sculpture Exhibition at the Shenzhen Public Art Center, and the 9th Shenzhen Youth Arttist Week at the Shenzhen University Art Museum. She has also held solo exhibitions at New Who Art Museum (2018), White Wind Space(2020), and Yinsheng Gallery (2023)
