We cannot find any hesitation in Kamibeppu’s works, which are carved out with his solid techniques. He has a thorough knowledge of materials he uses, and the forms that come out of them have a fundamental beauty. He creates his works in his atelier on a quiet hill surrounded by greenery and with a view of the morning sun.
